Workshops & Events
Our Creative Space plays host to a variety of awesome community events & workshops. Since opening in 2016 we have hosted more than 200 workshops including, calligraphy, weaving, screen printing, hand lettering, embroidery, macrame, seaglass art & lino-stamping. New projects are added often, and every effort is made to keep listings up to date. If an event you are interested in has sold out, contact the instructor and ask to be kept informed on the next date or follow us on social media @trainyardstore for updates!

Learn the necessary techniques to get started with modern brush calligraphy with Amy McMullen! In this work shop you will talk about supplies, learn the basic strokes, and work on the lower & uppercase alphabet. You will be provided worksheets and a brush pen that you can take home to continue your practice!Find out more »
Nocturne is our favourite night of the entire year and we have something INCREDIBLE planned for this year, in partnership with the incredible Rita Van Tassel.
