Workshops

Registration is required to ensure you get a spot, find upcoming dates and projects here! There is a fee to participate in these workshops, but we reserve one spot for pay what you can. 

Bring Your Own Project nights are free. You are invited to stop by with your own textile project and sit with the community while you work! No instruction is offered on these evenings, but the sharing of skills and knowledge is encouraged! Follow along on social media for dates and times.

Kids workshops are offered occasionally, these are intended for kids to attend with an adult present on site (we don't have the capacity for children to be left with our team). When not in use for workshops we offer colouring on our community tables! 

Pop Ups & Events

We LOVE community events like SWITCH, Pull Up On Portland & the Ice Festival and will always do what we can to participate in these! 

Following along on social media (@trainyardstore) or signing up for our Community Newsletter are the best ways to stay up to date on what's upcoming at The Trainyard! 

We find Food vendors, or those offering interactive demonstrations tend to have the most success popping up in store - please reach out anytime if that's something that interests you!

We do not offer our space for birthday parties.
