Local Delivery

We offer local delivery to the following postal codes through Haligone. Fees are based on postal code and distance from the shop. 

      • $7.25 Dartmouth Postal Codes B2Y, B3A
      • $10 Postal Codes: B3H, B3J, B3L, B3K, B2X, B2W, B2V, B0J 3A0, B3B, B3M, B3S, B3N, B4A
      • $13 Postal Code: B3P, B3G
      • $15.57 Postal Codes: B3R, B2R, B4B, B4C, B4E, B4G

Delivery is same or next day (afternoon, typically between 2-6pm) Monday to Friday. 

Delivery for orders placed Friday after 12pm - through Monday morning is typically Monday or Tuesday afternoon depending on store hours that week. Orders are occasionally delivered on Saturdays, but weekend delivery cannot be guaranteed. 

Please include instructions on where packages should be left in the order notes. If your order is to a weekday only location (ie. office building) please indicate that in the order notes. 


Canada wide shipping through Canada Post - rates are calculated at check out, the price shown is typically $5 less than the actual cost to ship items. 

All orders will receive a tracking number, and should arrive within 5-10 days to NS, NB, PEI and may take over 2 weeks to arrive at other Canadian addresses. COVID-19 precautions have delayed deliveries as all carriers are experiencing increased volume, we can't control how long it takes unfortunately! 

Packages are prepared and shipped Tuesday through Friday. It may take up to 5 days for your order to be picked up by the carrier - a confirmation email will be sent as soon as it is en route to you. 

All packages are shipped using recycled packaging materials to reduce our environmental impact.   

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated automatically at check out, please remember Canada Post increased its rates again this year. For the Maritimes smaller orders should ship with tracking for $12-16, rest of Canada tracked shipping typically starts at $18-23. In the event shipping significantly miscalculates we will contact you for payment before the order is shipping. 

Lettermail shipping for smaller items that can ship untracked lettermail will show at checkout for eligible orders. 

In the event items in your order arrive damaged please contact us immediately, events@trainyardstore.comPlease contact us as soon as possible if you have any special shipping instructions or need to change the address. 


Local Order Pick Up

You'll receive confirmation with pick up instructions once your order is prepared. Same day pick up is NOT available on weekends due to the volume of in-store customers; Orders placed Friday at 5pm through Sunday evening will be ready for pick up on Monday. 

Please wait for confirmation before arriving to pick up your order to avoid disappointment. If you don't receive an order confirmation email within 48 hours please check your junk mail or contact us (902) 407-5242.
