The following terms and conditions are an agreement (the "Agreement") between The Trainyard General Store and you. Your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Agreement. We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time, without prior individual notice. Any modifications to this Agreement will be posted on the Site. We encourage you to review the Agreement whenever you use the Site, modifications will be noted in the date above. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.

Order Changes

We reserve the right to refuse any order placed on the Site. At our discretion, we may make changes to your order, based on available inventory at the time the order is placed. In the event of a change or cancellation to the order, we will attempt to notify you via the email address provided at checkout before the order is shipped.

Site Contents

All content on the Site is the property of The Trainyard General Store, unless otherwise noted; Logos and photographs sourced from makers and brands are credited. Images used from the Site should be credited to The Trainyard General Store and the brand or maker represented. 

This includes: text, images, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, video clips and other materials. Contents are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. 

Personal Information 

The submission of personal information through the Site is governed by our privacy policy. This can be found by clicking on the "Privacy Policy" link located in the footer menu of the Site. All purchases are governed by the Privacy Policy. 

Pricing 

Prices displayed on the Site are in Canadian Dollars.

Taxes

Tax charges are based on applicable federal, provincial and harmonized sales tax rates based on the delivery address associated with your order. Where required, sales tax will also be applied to the shipping and handling charges. 

 In the event of a return the taxes paid will be refunded as well. Shipping charges and taxes are non-refundable, so a refund of the tax paid on shipping costs will not be refunded. 

 Inaccuracies, Errors & Item Colour 

We’re only human and occasionally there may be information on our Site that contains typographical errors, omissions or other inaccuracies that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, sizing, promotions, availability or other item details. 

With handmade goods there is always the possibility of variability in size, colour and design placement - in the event an item order is vastly different from that pictured we will contact you before shipping to confirm or issue a refund for the value. 

Every effort is made to photograph item colours as accurately as possible but we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will match. Please read descriptions carefully, or contact us with any questions.

The Trainyard reserves the right to correct any errors as needed and to change or update information or cancel orders at any time without prior notice.

Promotions

In addition to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, any contests or similar promotions available through the Site may be subject to specific rules, separate from this Agreement. By participating in any such Promotion, you agree to those rules, which may vary from these terms and conditions.

Links to Other Web Sites and Services

The Site may contain links to other Websites not under the control of The Trainyard General Store. Linking does not represent an endorsement of any linked Website contents beyond that explicitly mentioned on our Site.

The waiver of any provision of the Agreement shall not be considered a waiver of any other provision. If any provision of the Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid for any reason, that provision shall be severable, and all other provisions shall remain in full force
