The Trainyard Community Candle
We repeatedly are asked, "what's that nice smell?" when folks wander about the shop. The scent is often a blend of the candles, soaps, and essential oil mists that are in stock (and maybe some of the delicious smells of Cafe Good Luck that waft in through the vent)!
Our friends at Sel de Mer created our community candle, incorporating notes of bergamot, orange blossom and vanilla. $3 from the sale of every candle will be shared with our community partners (mutual aid requests and local non-profits). Each time you burn the candle, we hope you know you are loved, you matter and you belong!
The candle label was designed by Sel de Mer and the candle was hand-poured, using100% soy wax for a clean, toxic-free burn.

- Trim your wick to ¼’’ before lighting your candle
- Burn candle so wax pool reaches the edge of the jar
- Burn no more than 4 hours at a time, and never with less than ½’’ wax remaining
- Keep candles away from fans, open windows, hot surfaces, children and pets—and never leave a burning candle unattended.
