Lovely Ponies trotting in a green field filled with Spring blooms. Such a sweet feeling of family, love and togetherness. Made from an original painting by Maud Lewis.

The incredible and now iconic Canadian folk artist. Maud was uniquely creative, self-taught, specialized in painting everyday rural life, loved animals and appreciated the beauty of nature.

The story is a long one from Chad Brown in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He owns the original collection from Bill Ferguson who was a Maud Lewis collector and promoter. Bill Ferguson signed a contract with Maud and Everett in 1962 to reproduce the work with no terms. The collection was made to try and highlight Maud's work as an artist and gain more popularity for her. Permission was given for the images to be used freely and with love.
