Workshop - Beginner Block Printing
Join artist Kelly Bee for a beginner level block printing workshop - from drawing, to image transfer, to stamping. This two hour workshop will teach you the tools, some tricks, and useful techniques to carve rubber block printing stamps!
Thurs, Sept 24th from 6-8pm
We will have paper items, such as postcards and bookmarks, on hand to test out your new stamps, but they can also be used to make zines, fabric patches, print on clothing, and so much more!
Choose from premade designs as your starting point or try out one of your own (under 1.5" square). Participants will take home 2-3 of their hand carved stamps to continue block printing at home.
This workshop requires at least 5 participants in order to go ahead. If the workshop is cancelled due to low registration, a refund will be given to registered participants.
This workshop is intended for participants ages 18+
Cancellations by participant - Workshops led by guest artists require 72 hours notice for a cancellation. (If the class is on a Thursday night, we require notice by Monday at 6pm). Cash refunds are not possible, but the value will be put on a gift card for you. If you must cancel and it is past the 72 hour threshold, we will try to fill your spot. If we fill the spot, the value will be put on a gift card for you. If we are unable to fill the spot, no refund will be provided. Cancellation by instructor: In the event of instructor illness or inclement weather requiring the workshop to be cancelled, we will post on social media and contact you at the email addresses used during purchase. A full refund will be issued to you within 3-5 business days.
